This infographic compares the traditional form of weaning called abrupt separation to the new, two-stage weaning method using nose clips. It gives a brief description of weaning and the behaviours associated with stress during the weaning process. The strategies are visualized through a flow chart of diagrams, followed by symbols to indicate the behaviours experienced in each method used. Finally, there is a statement about cattle welfare in the beef industry.
